Hey. Thought you might be interested in this.
After some research, I found the tools that Dan Froelich used to write the music for Jill of the Jungle, Solar Winds, and all of those other early Epic games. The main one is Adlib Visual Composer, which you can find here: http://www.vgmpf.com/Wiki/index.php?title=AdLib_Visual_Composer
When you’ve got something you like, you can seamlessly convert the ROL into a CMF with this utility: http://cd.textfiles.com/knowledgemedia/CONVRTR/MSDOS/ROL2CMF/
Although dated and a little clunky, by early 1990s standards the tracker is pretty easy to use. My own music theory is really rusty, but I managed to crank out a few half-decent tunes pretty quickly. Within 24 hours, I added a few new tunes to an old Game-Maker game that I had previously left silent:

I’ve also dug up some other things that, with tweaking, will allow conversion of MIDI (and various tracker formats, by way of MIDI) into ROL files, which you can clean up and output to CMF. So, twenty years on, we finally have a workable music solution.
So. There you go!
Wouw !!! Tnx for the tricks … I’ll let see that !
