474. Back to the monaster

Cyborg Jeff (Martin) Impulse Tracker – Cyrix 166 – IT
track 1, Esperenza S.E. (1998) | track 14, Day after day (2000)

So many things till the end of summer 97. It was official, i’ve succeed the admission exams to be Sound Ingineer at the I.A.D. I’ve left Seraing to settle in the univerCITY of Louvain La Neuve with my new friend Didier Rombauts. So i should find quickly a computer and have bought the one of my friend Cédric Vanrutten, a Cyrix 166mhz with a problematic Aztec Sound Galaxy II that won’t work first correctly with Windows 95 and Impulse Tracker… During the first days i should choose between 16bits or stereo… Finally it’s over !

So i’ve wrote this song, with a great melody something inspirated from ERA – Ameno and the belgian artist Luc Baiwir.

At that time it was just a clin d’oeil, but the title : Back to the monaster is a reference to the song Falling in love (monaster mix)… Yes, i was back tot the Saint Roch monaster….

373. The Warpfield

Cyborg Jeff (Martin) Impulse Tracker II – Pentium 120 – IT
track 6, Divagation S.E. (1997-2003)

Divagation S.E.

Yeah are u ready ? (Yeah, êtes vous prêt ?)
You enter into the Warpfield (Vous entrez dans le champs de téléportation)
And now there’s no reality (Il n’y a maintenant plus de réalité)

Style – James Brown is dead…

The Warpfield sera le dernier titre composé pour l’album Divagation

Coucou à DJ Vanoïd (Cédric Vanrutten), Tbob, JedD, DJ Val, Didinosaure (Ferdinand Christiaens) et Delphine

Well sometimes, you could think that i’ve smoke something…

Yeah, are u ready ?
You enter into the Warpfield
And now, there’s no reality
There are threes on the sky and birds on the ground

Musicaly, it still sounds like Faithless / Sash! with a rave melody in the mood of L.A. Style – James Brown is dead.

Petit morceau techno hardcore répétitif et hypnotique composé pour mon ami DJ Vanoïd (Cédric Vanrutten)

287. Freed from desire (tracker version)

Cyborg Jeff (Molella – Jay – Rizzatto – Martin) Scream Tracker III, Fast Tracker II – Pentium 120 – S3M, XM

Don’t laugh… remember the italian songs Gala – Freed from desire… may be the worst female voice in Dance music… so my interpretation could a suplice as it’s absolutly note tune for me ! So i’ve wrote it for my sister and my friend Seb…

Here in Belgium, Freed From Desire was her first tube, but in Italy she’s allready scored with Everyone has inside… After other hits as Let a boy cry, Come into my life and suddently in 97, she’s back in a new style in 2005 with Faraway and working now on a new album CD.

277. Vaaaaaanooooïïïd

Cyborg Jeff & DJ Vanoïd (Martin) Fast Tracker II – Pentium 120 – XM

« Yes, this is my frieend »…

Well, it’s a good day to speak about that song, as my old friend Cedric Vanrutten arrives on Facebook ! So in fact at that time, Vanoïd (as i musically called him) often found new excellent techno song ! So getting out our place we are hitting things imagining a new techno rythm… Base of this new song written for him with this : « Yes, this is my friend)… So as you could hear, i’ve change my voice with some Fast Tracker effetcs.

Some hellos to Vanoïd, JedD, Laermans bros, Pascal Deiting, Smouthzy and Cadaver Len from the USA.

252. Indice n°1

Cyborg Jeff (Martin-Sanchioni-Quartier) Scream Tracker III – Pentium 120 – S3M

B.B.E. - Seven days and one week
B.B.E. – Seven days and one week

– Seven days and one week.

Now in last year, we had access to a special room at scool with some sofas, place to play cards and an old Hi-Fi K7 audio installation. There was enough for me to flood of Cyborg Jeff’s music !! Anyway, I sometimes left my place to my friend Cédric Vanrutten that often have some intersting music to let me discover !

That day, he brought a K7 recorded to the Dancing : Real. There was a song that will be a hit and the we listen and listen to that song. Ced didn’t know more about the title or the group of that music… But we liked it ! So, back at home, i tryed to rewrite, what i remember… There is some difference between my song and the original… Did you recognise it ? The first Trance hit : B.B.E. – Seven days and one week.

If Robert Miles and his song Children have inspirated me during a long part of the year 1996, this new song will be the main inspiration of a new generation of songs during the forcoming 6 months !

So i titled this song : Indice number 1 .. as i needed more to know what song i’ve try to remix.
