Ré-arrangement de ce slow composé en mars 96, un an plus tôt sur base de samples tirés du synthé de Laurent Mazzapicchi… Le résultat sonne du coup nettement moins « Démoscène »… A l’heure actuelle, les sons du Roland E36 donne un mauvais gout d’instrument midi, mais pour l’époque, ma carte son Midi était bien incapable de produire de telles sonorités, et l’échantiollanage du Roland me permettait de donner plus de réalisme à mes créations.

Re-arrangement from a slow i’ve written in march 96 with samples i’ve recorded out of the Roland E36 of my friend Laurent Mazzapicchi. The new result sounds not so Scenemusic and have a Midi Touch that now sounds average. Anyway at that time, my Midi SoundCard was just able to play FM instrument, so sampling the Roland synthesizer let me give more realism to my creation.

Divagation S.E. (2003)Tiens, tiens, vous aurez peut-être tout constaté le petit clin d’oeil à Seven days and one week grand classique Trance de la fin de l’année 1996 faisant toujours partie de mes sources d’inspiration, même si l’on retrouve dans cette composition une place importante dédiée au piano…. dont les samples sont échantillonnés du synthé de Parmy (Laurent Mazzapicchi), qui m’a également servi à composer la base de la mélodie.

Ceci dit, une fois de plus, le titre est composé pour Delphine… ce qui sera assez fréquent durant les mois qui viennent… puisque Delphine sera une de mes premières petite copines un peu plus tard… Je me contentais là de compter les mois depuis notre rencontre, et les semaines avant de la revoir…

One month but three weeks aura la tâche d’être le premier titre de mon premier album CD : Divagation.

Salut à Tbob (Valentin Boigelot), Puce (Simon Boigelot), Pierrick Hansen, JedD (Jean-Denis Magis), Pype et Delphine à qui j’avais fait parvenir l’album K7 « Trip to Ferrières »…

Well maybe did you recognize why I use that title ? A poke to the Trance classic : Seven days and one week from B.B.E. that was still a inspiration source as if I use some piano’s melody. That piano was first written on the Parmesan’s synthesizer before i sample it.

One ce again, the song was written for Delphine, as I’ll do it more often during the forcoming month, as she will be one of my first girl friend… So I was counting month since I’ve met her and weeks before I’ll see her back…

One month but three weeks will be the first song of my CD album : Divagation.

Planer n'est pas jouer S.E.Voguant au-dessus d’un couché de soleil sur la mer prise de reflet violet… voilà l’image à retrouver en écoutant ce nouveau titre de Dream music aux mélodie de piano inspirée du titre Children de Robert Miles (d’où son nom de fichier) qui commençait alors à cartonner en Belgique… toujours mélangé subtilement avec quelques sons rave type du début des années 90… dont une basse du groupe Sequencial, des strings du synthé Roland de Laurent ‘Parmesan’ Mazzapicchi ou des seq-bass de Romuald ‘Valyum’ Dispa… Le titre se retrouvera également dans la ré-édition de l’album Planer n’est pas jouer en 2007.

Floating above a purple sea… here is the image you should find listening to this new Dream music song with piano melodies in the mood of Robert Miles – Children that began to be a hit here in Belgium… still mixed with some rave techno sounds from the first years of the nineties,… as a bass from Sequencial, strings from the Parmy’s synthesizer or sequential bass from Valyum. The song will be back on the re-edition of the album Planer n’est pas jouer in 2007.

track 7, Gimme an Amiga (1996-2012)

Yamaha PSR 210 manual4° projet basé sur mon synthé Yamaha PSR 210, et utilisant les sons les plus « techno » de ce synthétiseur familliale. J’avais également utilisé les voix digitalisée de celui-ci (le One, Two), pour un résultat plutôt sympathique au final !

Petit anecdote, je disais alors : Un morceau réalisé une fois de plus par votre tracker préféré : Mc Piet qui vous propose déjà plus de 50 modules…. Et on en est déjà à 150 enfait !

4rd project with my Yamaha PSR 210 using the most techno sounds from that familial synthesizer. I had also used the digitalised sounds from it (the One, Two,..) for an intersting result.

That was fun to spot that, at that moment, i was proud to announce that i have more than 50 modules realised… in fact, it was the 155rd one.
