Cyborg Jeff (Martin) Fast Tracker II – Pentium 120 – XM

Une foule en transe crie : « Cyborg Jeff, Cyborg Jeff, Cyborg Jeff »… Les Hardtrance lovers sont en plein extase… Il est là, il déchaine sa musique, ses mélodies de piano… et un style à la Scooter…

Un petit cadeau pour JedD (Jean-Denis Magis) et Ced (Cédric Vanrutten) et les lecteurs de PC Fun… qui n’auront jamais la chance d’écouter le titre… une fois de plus !

hyperAh voilà que je pouvais ici déchainer la puissance de Fast Tracker II grâce à mon nouveau Pentium 120 en gonflant de samples, près de 3mo et de nombreux patterns afin de réalisé le mégamix ultime comprenant un nombre impressionnant de titres des années 90 :

137. Cyborg Laugh

Jeff (Martin) Scream Tracker III – 80386 DX 40 – MOD

Voilà donc le premier morceau de « Jeff », pas encore Cyborg Jeff, mais on s’en rapproche, puisque le titre s’appelle « Cyborg Laugh », le rire du Cyborg. Avec une double approche de styles musicaux, l’une plutôt « musique Amiga » mélodique et l’autre très « Hardcore », l’idée de trouver un nouveau pseudonyme s’installe.

Ici encore, le style est assez agressif, dans la lignée de ce que Caro (Caroline Lepaily) DJ Dub (Christophe Deblire) aime écouter. Pas loin de Scooter, « Don’t laugh » et Mayday Anthem avec des sons de Psygnosis, Real 2 Reel et Waxattack.

Et c’est surtout Winx – Don’t Laugh qui est la référence principale, ce morceau de techno avec son rire tout ce qu’il y a de plus énervant !!! qui marchait vraiment à l’époque !

Pourquoi Jeff ? Déjà, parceque ca sonne très « DJ » et musique électronique,… et puis aussi, parce que j’aime bien. Mais également un référence à Jeff Mills. Même si personnelement je connais assez peu, cet artiste, Caro et Laetitia (Laetitia Morone) associait souvent mon style de musique à cet artiste.

So here is the first song from « Jeff », not allready Cyborg Jeff, but it’s close to as the song call « Cyborg Laugh ». With my two realy different styles of music : Amiga music and Hardcore Techno, i began to think to a new nickname.

Here, this agressive line was in the mood of Caro and DJ Dub, not so far from Scooter, Winx – Don’t Laugh and the Mayday Anthem with some sounds from Psygnosis, Real 2 Reel and Waxattack.

And Winx was the biggest inspiration with this techno song and his stressing laugh.

But why Jeff ? May be just cause it’s sounds « DJ » and electronic Music, and also cause i like it… but it’s also a reference from Jeff Mills, as if i’ve never heard before today (2009), it’s the reference that give Caro & Laetitia with my personnal music she like.

Mc Piet & DJ Dub ( Baxtter – Jordan – Bueller – Martin – Deblire) Scream Tracker III – 80386 DX 40 – MOD

Un peu avant la fin des vacances, mon voisin temporaire Christophe Deblire était venu me rendre visite avec, lui aussi, ses nouveaux CDs reçus pour les fêtes ! Nous avons donc commencé par nous occuper du Maxi Single de Scooter – Move your ass, avec quelques samples d’un autre CD de Moby.

Few days before we were back to school, my temporary neightboor, Christope Deblire came at home with his brand new CDs. So we began to work with the Maxi Single of Scooter – Move your Ass and some samples from an other CD of Moby.

99. Bouge ton cul !

Mc Piet (Martin) Scream Tracker III – 80386 DX 40 – S3M

Mes fouilles dans les répertoires de modules de mes CDs PC Fun donnèrent à des morceaux très singuliers, c’est le cas de ce « Bouge ton Cul » composé en ce jour de Noël 1995. La base vient tout d’abord d’un module de 1994 de Blue Adonis – Back Off et d’un titre également du nom de Bouge ton Cul tracké par un français du nom de Mc Bidule… Bouge ton cul, est évidemment une réference au titre techno qui cartonne alors en cette fin d’année 1995 en Belgique : Scooter – Move your ass. Coté musicale, c’est plutôt un plus ancien titre techno qui m’a également inspiré la mélodie : Dance 2 Trance – Power of an American Native….

Bref, une fois de plus j’offrais là un morceau de Hardcore bien belge !

Vous pouvez également constater qu’il s’agit de mon premier morceau au format .S3M. Ce n’est pas vraiment un choix personnel en réalité. La base du titre de Blue Adonis était dans ce format, et une fois sauver en .MOD mon fichier foirait complètement les samples…

Dédicace du jour à : Caroline Lepaily, Laetitia Morone, DJ Dub (Christophe Deblire) et Sabine Fontaine…

Vous êtes fou ??? Joyeux Noël !!

Searching in the CDs of PC Fun let propose singular creations i made, as this song written the xmas day of year 1995. The base of the track came from a older module written by Blue Adonis in a demoparty and called Back Off. I also use idea of the « Bouge ton Cul » from a song of a youg french tracker called Mc Bidule. « Bouge ton cul » is sure a reference of the european hit of Scooter – Move your ass… About the melody i probably don’t have first take care that i was starting on the an older techno song : Dance 2 Trance – Power of an American Native. So i once again propose a typical Belgian Hardcore.

May be did you mention that it’s my first .S3M song file format ? That was not a personnal choise. The base track from Blue Adonis was in .S3M and when i saved my work in 8tracks .MOD, all the samples crashed.

Channel One Records - BonzaïBon, je vous disais que j’avais plusieurs méthodes pour faire un remix,… en voilà une où je tentais donc avec les moyens du bord de me reprocher du tube techno belge Thunderbal – Bonzaï Channel One, faisant alors la promo de la discothèque du même nom !

Avec la possibilité d’insérer ma voix, je me lançais donc à m’enregistrer criant moi aussi le Bonzaaaa taaa taaaa, mais également à la manière de Scooter dans Hyper Hyper, j’ajoutais la liste de mes crédits dans le morceau en criant un Caroline (Caroline Lepaily), DJ Dub (Christophe Deblire), Laetitia (Laetitia Morone) make jump all over the world …

So as i explained later, i’ve different method to create remix and here is the one where i tryed to be more close of the original one, the mega belgian techno hit : Thunderball – Bonzaï Channel One.

As i would be able to do, i recorded my voice also screaming the « Bonzzaaaa taaa taaa » but also as Scooter do in Hyper Hyper, i named all partners : Caroline, DJ Dub, Laetitia, Mc Piet make jump all over the world !
