hyperAh voilà que je pouvais ici déchainer la puissance de Fast Tracker II grâce à mon nouveau Pentium 120 en gonflant de samples, près de 3mo et de nombreux patterns afin de réalisé le mégamix ultime comprenant un nombre impressionnant de titres des années 90 :

Wooohouu i would be able to use all the power of my Fast Tracker II with my brand new Pentium 120 adding 3mo of samples in the super megamix production with a lot of 90ies dance formation : Hit House, Dance 2 Trance, B.B.E., R.T.S., Scooter, Parmersan, Robert Miles, East Beat Syndicate, 2 Unlimited, 2 Brothers on the 4th floor, Jens, Confetti’s, Charly Lownoise and Black Box…

Techno Trance 3Courant juillet je m’étais mis à commencer un nouveau mégamix un peu Techno Hardcore avec mon ami DJ Dub (Christophe Deblire), partant des CDs qu’ils avaient amené ce jour là : Techno Trance 2 et 3 ainsi que le House Party VIII. J’étais moyennement convaincu du résultat et j’avais laissé là le travail. Et ce jour là, mon autre copain amateur de Hardcore, MegG (Laurent Rosati) passait à la maison et je lui fait écouter… « T’es fou, c’est tout bon ça » me dit-il… et me voilà donc qui me remet à l’ouvrage… Au final le mégamix sera sacrément gourmand et se terminera même par une petite compo Trance personnel.

Tout de même 28 samples et 50 patterns, dont les 25 premiers écris donc au mois de juillet.

On retrouve notamment les titres : De Euromaster – Alles naar de kl**te, Vicious Delicious – Hocus Pocus, Ramirez, Sequential – Psychotronic, Charly Lownoise – DJ Fuck.

During july i’ve started a new megamix with techno hardcore sounds that my friend DJ Dub took with him : Techno Trance 2 & 3 and the House Party VIII. I was not so happy of the result and leave the work. But that day, my friend MegG also fan of Hardcore listen that project and told me.. No continue man.. That rocks !… So i started back and finalise it with a personnal trance composition.

The final result is a big soundtrack with 28 samples and 50 patterns. I mixed De Euromaster – Alles naar de kloten, Vicious Delicious – Hocus Pocus, DJ Ramirez, Sequencial – Psychotronic, Charly Lownoise – DJ Fuck…

Voici un style un peu plus « happy hardcore » comme Charly Lownoise et d’autres DJs flamands et allemands lançaient comme hit en 1995. La réalisation est assez moyenne basée sur des petits samples sans grande prétention… La mélodie est assez sympathique et donne un petit gout de comptine enfantine…

Here is a song sounding as the Happy Hardcore mood of Charly Lownoise and some other dutch and german’s DJ in 1995. The realisation was average, as worked around some non-pretention new samples.

Turn up the bass 21Bon, je ne vais pas vous faire un roman pour ce megamix, il s’agit simplement d’un projet tout à fait similaire que le vol. 22 réalisé quelques heures plus tard avec le CD vol. 21 de ma nouvelle compilation Turn up the Bass. Ce megamix ci est un peu plus intéressant que le premier, mais cela reste un megamix de vieux morceaux techno des années 1992.

On y retrouve : The cover girls – Wishing on a star, Sequencial – Big Boom, Berkie Bell – I’ll never know, Gat Decor – Passion, Bass Bumper – The music’s got me, The brand new heavies – Stay this way, Chestnut – Pot of gold, Studio X – Los king del man, Phenomenia – String of love, Napoleon – Fortuna, Charly Lownoise – Speed City.

I will not write here a long story for this megamix, as it is just the next project as the one called number 22 finished few hours later. Anyway this one is more intersting.

You could find sounds of : The Cover Girls, Sequencial, Berkie Bell, Gat Decor, Bass Bumper, The Brand new Havies, Chesnut, Studio X, Phenomenia, Napoleon and Charly Lownoise.

Peut-être n’avez vous pas connu les tous premiers Dance Computer, avant que le concept ne soit repris par les Unity Mixers et le label Arcade pour en faire un CD de 60 minutes de titre dance/techno mixés… Non les tous premiers Dance Computer à la sauce Stefano Paganelli, était des 45 tours contenant un mégamix de 2x 3 minutes. Très jeune, ce concept m’a accroché, et je sautais donc sur tous les genre de Megamix que je pouvais trouver, jusqu’à moi même en réaliser avec mon double deck K7, sous le nom de Mee-Kanik..

Avec le sample de Fast Tracker II, j’allais pouvoir me lancer à tenter de créer moi même ma propre lignée de Megamix… ici encore tout simplement appelé Dance Computer,…

On y retrouve : Robin S. , Charly Lownoise, Dye Witness, Armageddon, 2 Unlimited et Ice Mc samplés hors de mon CD Techno Trance 4
et bien sur la voix de robot du Dance Computer 7… Les instruments eux avaient été samples hors de mon Yamaha PSR 210.

May be did you not have known the first Dance Computer, before the concept was relaunched by the Unity Mixers and the Arcade’s label to create long 60 minutes CDs of Dance music mixed. Those first Dance Computer was LP realised by Stefano Paganelli with 2x 3 minutes of Megamix. At 12 years old i bought all the megamix i could found and i try to create mine with my double deck K7.

But with the Fast Tracker II’s sampler, i would be able to create my personnal megamix, as if this first one still named « Dance Computer »…

This one including : Robin S., Chalry Lownoise, Dye Witness, Armageddon, 2 Unlimited, Ice Mc… all sampled from my Techno Trance 4 CD. The vocal’s robots comes from the original Dance Computer 7 and some additionnal instruments from my Yamaha PSR 210.
