Le concept de ces Megamixs courts à la Dance Computer réalisés par Stefano Paganelli ou les Unity Mixers est toujours bien dans ma tête ! Avec l’augmentation croissante de la mémoire prise en charge dans Impulse Tracker II tournant sous un MS-DOS boosté par Windows, je commence à pouvoir importer un nombre de plus en plus important de samples et de boucles dans mes 16mo de mémoire afin de réaliser des « Megamixs » de plus en plus intéressants.
A l’approche de la fin de l’année, tournant en rond dans mon Kot alors que je devrais peut-être un peu étudier, je me lance donc dans un nouveaux projets au départ des derniers CDs trouvés sur la boutique d’occasion de la grand place de Louvain-La-Neuve.

With the increasing amount of memory supported in Impulse Tracker II running on a Windows-boosted MS-DOS, I’m starting to be able to import more and more samples and loops into my 16MB of memory to make more and more interesting « Megamixes ».
At the approach of the end of the year, turning in circles in my Kot whereas I should perhaps study a little, I thus launch out in a new project starting from the last CDs found on the second-hand shop of the great place of Louvain-La-Neuve.

Ah, mon rêve d’être DJ, de faire mes petits Megamix à la sauce Dance Computer et The Unity Mixers… Même si à la radio, le style commençait à disparaître au profit de longue compilation CD enchainée,… je restais très branché sur le concept, présentant mon 10° projet Dance Mix incluant une série de titres dont j’avais dernièrement déniché les CDs pour pas trop cher :
Le tout réalisé également avec d’autres samples tirés de Cubic 22, L.F.O., Einstein, Rebel Mc, Altern 8 et Future Breeze.
Bien que j’étais hyper fan d’Ecuador de Sash, cette partie du megamix est absolument catastrophique !
I was dreaming i’ll be a DJ, making Megamix as the Dance Computer and The Unity Mixers… And as if that kind of megamix was no more broadcast on radio, letting the place to the long mixed CD compilation, i’ll finished the 10th Dance Mix including some tracks i’ve bought as : The Soultans, Tinmann, Tekno Too, Jam & Spoon, Three’n One, Gala and Sash!

2° titres de la journée, toujours réalisé avec mon ami DJ Dub (Christophe Deblire)… Cette fois nous nous attaquions à un megamix à la « Unity Mixers » sur bases d’une série de samples réalisés hors de l’excellentissime House Party II qu’il avait apporter, ainsi qu’un ou l’autre du House Party VIII. On retrouve donc des titres Rave tels que :
Channel X – Rave Alarm, R.T.F.R. – Extrasyn, No Deaper – Meaning, Rave Buster – Mitrax, Overtime – The time has come, Frantic Explosion – Boom Bang, Chosen Few – Tranceparent et High Energy – The Box.
Ceci dit, ce titre aurait mieux fait de s’apeller Rave Sample… car il n’a pas grand chose de « Groove »… mais je me suis souvent meler les pinceaux dans les styles musicaux… Il n’y aura pas de part 2 !
Second titles from the day, still realised with my friend DJ Dub. That time we’ve try to do a megamix like the Unity Mixers using some samples i’ve made out of the excellent compilation House Party II and VIII that my friend have catch.
Well i should name it Rave Sample, cause it’s absolutly not Groove music, but i often mix style music in my mind… There were no part 2 !

Prolongement du 1° Digi Mix, je me relançais donc dans un nouveau projet similaire, partant du Electrosound de The Unity Mixers, C Countdown de Confetti’s, et surtout du vinyl Dance Computer 3, contenant nottament Hoho de Plaza et Vous êtes fou de Benny B… bref de quoi faire pas mal de sampling. Ne cherchez pas Digi Mix 2… il s’agit bien du 2° projet, mais intitulé Digi Mix 3, car reprennant beaucoup de son du Dance Computer 3.
Few days after the Digi Mix 1, I launched a similar project starting from the Electrosound (The Unity Mixers), C. Countdown (Confetti’s) and espcially my LP of the Dance Computer 3 including Hoho (Plaza) and Vous êtes fou (Benny B)… so many things to sample. Don’t search after a Digi Mix 2, that was the second project… called 3 cause i used many sounds from the Dance Computer 3.
