Modules Pack : 1995

So, here is the full complete archive including the first modules i’ve written (under Mc Piet nick) during year 1995. The file contain 113 modules in MOD 4 and 8 channels and the first one in S3M.

Quality of those tracks are really medium, first cause it’s my first steps on tracker, and also cause i was limited to amiga samples and some i created with my poor sound card.

Those tracks was written with different friends :
V-Drums (Vivien Vanoirbeek)
DJ Dim (Dorian Mazza)
Laurent Rosati
Pierrick Hansen
Pypein (Sylvain Martin)
DJ Dub (Christophe Deblire)

Finally, special thanks to :
Vivien Vanoirbeek who let me use his computer during lot of hours to do tracker (mine can’t let run Fast Tracker)
Xavier Vanhoorick who find the cd-rom including Scream Tracker III (that let me do tracker on my own computer)
Pierrick Hansen & Romuald Dispa who show me what’s a tracker and how to use it.

I also invite you to rediscover all that time, songs by songs, … they have a story ! Start from here : Alesi has no curse.

97. Math : Dead or Alive

Mc Piet (Martin) Scream Tracker III – 80386 DX 40 – MOD

After some many craps, it’s time to write a new good song ! End of my examination was not so far, i just had Mathematics examination the next day with Miss Franckart. I was not able to predict the result… That’s why i called it Dead or Alive, as the title of the fighting game that have arrived here in Europe, as if i’ve never played it.

If the last songs was so bad, it’s because i more use my time to work on the forcoming game of PPP Team software with my borther : Biokid. A Megaman like where you are an anti-virus that should clean your PC.

Master B (my sound card) and Keen (my PC Mouse) were so happy !

In this HipHop song, maybe do you have recognise some ideas from the swedish band Ace of Base.

33. Piet Burner for ever

Mc Piet (Martin) Scream Tracker III – 80386 DX 40 – MOD

As a war’s scream from the Mac Dingeling (cf La Ribambelle en Ecosse from Roba), here is my revolution ! I Finally be able to create music at home with this new stuff : Scream Tracker III, found in a PC Team’s CD borrowed by my friend Xavier Van Hoorick. With a clean interface, this new soft would be my fellow during one complete year ! First not full used, i just focused on the MOD 4 Channels format, compatible with my MS-DOS Player. But this new tool let import other format than .SMP samples, as the .VOC that i could record my selft with my small microphone and the recording tools of my Master Boomer. I also could use many other vocal samples that i had found for my Game Maker’s games.

Thoses days, i re-install my C64 to play some games as Blue Max and Wonder Boy.
