Rappelez-vous, Rock Candy fut un des premiers modules que j’ai réalisé… en 1995 ! Il s’agissait d’une ré-écriture au format Fast Tracker, d’une partition de guitare de mon frangin Pype… Dans ma petite folie de ré-arrangement à la sauce « Synthé Roland Midi » de plusieurs titres (3D.mod, Liquid – Ambient Zing, Go for it, BLS – Mr Keel Theme), j’avais ensuite embrayé sur ce petit titre, afin de lui donner une couleur… plus rock !!
Quoi il en soit, cette idée était vraiment stupide, puisque tuant toute la magie du format SoundTracker… Mais à l’époque j’étais tellement exciter à l’idée de pouvoir disposer d’un super synthé Midi Roland, que je ne m’en rendais pas compte !
Remember, Rock Candy was one of my first module i realised in 1995. It was a rewritten on Fast Tracker format from a guitar partition of my bros Pype. During this 97 summer i was so excited to soon have my brand new Roland syntesizer that i began to rewrite lot of songs with the sample set i’ve recorded from the Roland E38 of Laurent Mazzapicchi… working on 3D.mod, Liquid – Ambient Zing, Go for It, BLS – Mr Keel Theme and Rock Candy…
It was sure a stupid idea that left all the magical potion of the Sound Tracker sounds… but at that time i was so excited to this new Midi quality that i can’t understand it !
Voilà qui pose problème dans mon archivage, je retrouve aujourd’hui ce morceau situé non pas en février 97, mais bien février 96… Un petit morceau à la sauce amiga réalisé sur base de samples tirés du module Mr Keel Theme composé par BLS/Nova (Blue Silence, Christophe Cassier), trouvé chez mon oncle Barballo… et composé un soir de vacance sur l’une des machines de son atelier…
Well, i found back a song written in february 96 and not has i’ve referenced it in 1997. This song was written around samples from the module Mr Keel Theme i’ve just found on a CD-Rom and have been realised on a computer of my uncle.
