461. Hit the bricks

Cyborg Jeff (Martin-Martin) Impulse Tracker II – Pentium 120 – IT
track 19, Summer Island S.E. (1997)

Hit the bricks, voyait donc assez vite le jour…

Refrain :

You must burn,
 You must run,
Hit the bricks, hit hit hit the bricks

Coupplet :

You have been chosen,
 ‘cause you are the best,
‘cause you could pass this mission

You have been chosen,
 You must save the earth,
 You must shoot this fiction

Pont :

No question, only the best weapons
You must hit the bricks or we gonna sick
Throw your ball and shoot them all
If you heard a tick, you have hitten a brick

Just dream… the Crazy Brix project began to be kwel… We could play it, it’s still often crashed, but my brother Pype have succeed to add my soundtrack modules in the game… So i was imagined we could have an animated intro with a Dance Track in the mood of 2 Unlimited but including oldschool C64 sounds…. Something realy ambitious for Breakout like game.

Hit the bricks was born… counting once again the adventures of Jack Boost in a new kind of spaceship !

306. Badman in the japanese falls

Cyborg Jeff (Martin) Impulse Tracker – Pentium 120 – S3M
track 15, Gimme an Amiga (1996-2012)

I continued writing musics for our PPP Team Software games, hardly waiting the new Game Maker 2 running under Clicker 32 OS, developped by my brother Pype !

So i wrote an asiatic songs that suite to the japanese waterfall of the first episode of Badman. In that special stage, our hero don’t use his astroflasher but have a samurai weapon to fight ninjas !

208. Nono : Funky Crack

Piet (Martin) Scream Tracker III – 80386 DX 40 – S3M
track 17, Gimme an Amiga (1996-2012)

Few hours ago, i’ve told you about the forcoming game of PPP Team Software called : Nono. You could see some physical similarity with Nono and « Pouf », the friend of Boule (Boule & Bill), with his too long hair… Nono’s weapon was a Yoyo… probably inpsirated from the Amiga game Magic Pocket. About the gameplay, Nono should propose the gamer some puzzle zone mixing Boulder Dash and Rick Dangerous.. we settle the first level in a Maya world.

About the music, why called it Funky Crack… At that time, i was realy addicted to the demoscene amiga world… and especially the Crack-tro you could find before running a cracked game. So i had decided to myself write the scenemusic like song that could be included in our game.
