Kwel, holiday’s time and my friend Parmy borrowed me his Roland E36 syntesizer with modern instrument compare to my old Yamaha. So i’ll quickly start to sample it and began new songs.
This first trance song was great, anyway it was not added on the CD album Divagation… You need songs for your games and demos… contact me !
Happy New Years to al my friends, We are now in 1997 ! So i began to work with my new Impulse Tracker on an older song i’ve written few month ago : A War Without Weapons.. Adding a robotic vocal, using bigger samples and more tracks… Anyway, at that time, I had difficulties to run IT with Stereo support, so this song have a bad stereo panning !
That was fixed when that version was included in the Cyborg Jeff’s Best Of album : We Want More in the end of the year 2006.
This second year season let you discovered the first production of Cyborg Jeff but also so tracks always under Mc Piet’s nick. Since january to augustus, i was tracking under an 386 DX and my brave Scream Tracker,.. My main style was dream music (BBE, Robert Miles, Boris,..) but i still trying other kind of music : techno, game, ….
Next part of year 1996, my brother Pype bought us an Pentium 120 so i was able to let run Fast Tracker II faster and began to create my personnal samples collections and not just rip from other modules.
And finally in the last days (29 december) i found the incredible Impulse Tracker that really fit to my needs !
The file contain 204 modules in MOD, S3M, XM and IT
Quality of those tracks was improved but still sounds as PC-Module.
So, a long time i didn’t have write song like this… stop Dance and Trance music… i was back to the roots with an oldschool maybe chiptunes track that could be great as sound track for an amiga shoot’m up…

Nope, i was not won a lot of money… just a narcissic moment arount the first letter of my first name…. and a new trance song with interesting piano melody… better thant the global arrangement that not correctly sounds on Modplug/XMplay rendering.
During those holidays, i was working on differents stuffs. Keep tracking with Scream Tracker III but also writing MIDI songs with my friends Vivien and his sequencer : Culture Beat, John Lennon, The Beatles…
PPP Team Software also worked hard. Pype and I still working on the third episode of Badman and I especially working on a new project first starting from a 2D conversion of Wolfstein 3D world on Game Maker. Called Spector with a hero inspirated from Inspector Gadget, Nono and Badman… I took time to work on blood animation of my enemi death ! The first level was great ! But one year later we lost all data in a Hard Drive crash.
Tentacle Bob and his brother La Puce also working now with Game Maker…. Valentin working on a game called Tentacle Bob and also Ratman… who also appears as the first boss of Badman 3.
During july i’ve started a new megamix with techno hardcore sounds that my friend DJ Dub took with him : Techno Trance 2 & 3 and the House Party VIII. I was not so happy of the result and leave the work. But that day, my friend MegG also fan of Hardcore listen that project and told me.. No continue man.. That rocks !… So i started back and finalise it with a personnal trance composition.
The final result is a big soundtrack with 28 samples and 50 patterns. I mixed De Euromaster - Alles naar de kloten, Vicious Delicious - Hocus Pocus, DJ Ramirez, Sequencial - Psychotronic, Charly Lownoise - DJ Fuck…
Small pause during my study time… so i’ve realised this tiny euro-dance songs sounding like Culture Beat, with sounds coming from the CD compilation Dance Hit 5.
Tiny track written for my friends MegG and DJ Dub, back to hardcore and jungle. Inspirated from sounds sampled out of the CD of The Prodigy - Out of Space.
Just wait … and there is a more intersting production… Back to Dream music and its quiet piano’s melodies, mixed with techno sounds and beat… And well, i should admit there was a link to the song Classic of House, cause i’ve tried to add again some classical instrument… sounding better in this track.
A special hello to Alain Rinallo, sound producer, that i’ve met with my friend Vivien. I’ll visit his sound’s studio for the first time… and then dreaming to produce a Cyborg Jeff’s album… and have the same work !
Coool, pour les vacances de carnaval, mon ami Parmy (Laurent Mazzapicchi) m’avait prêté son synthétiseur Roland E36, disposant de sons bien plus modernes que mon actuelle Yamaha. Je m’étais donc rapidement lancé à sampler les instruments de celui-ci, puis à imaginer de nouvelles musiques…
